POOOOOOR Customer Service

To make a VERY long story a little shorter, I just spent 25 minutes calling the Walmart Supercenter #1055 in Garland Texas trying to determine if they had a safety chair that goes in the shower for a disabled person to sit on. I was put on hold indefinitely twice, hung up on twice, transferred to the pharmacy and sporting goods and finally when I called back for the 7th time and told the lady what a difficult time I was having reaching anyone, she recommended that I call Lowe's because "she always got good service there." LOL This experience has evolved in 15 minutes of wasted productivity at our firm as the majority of our employees are sharing their Walmart horror stories as I type this. I know you are the biggest and I know sending customers to other stores after providing horrible customer service will not hurt your bottom line much. But just imagine how much more profitable you would be with just a little bit of customer service instilled in your employees.

Nothing. I would never dream that these letters matter to anyone in Walmart.

I owould think that a true pharmacy (like EVS) would be more likely to
have this item. I especially think that a hospital supply store --
like where you get oxygen tanks, gurneys, etc. -- would be more likely
than a pharmacy.

At the Walmarts around here the shower chair that you speak of is
found in the area in front of the pharmacy, which is probably why you
were transferred there.

did you ask for a specific department? i don't imagine it would have
been anywhere besides pharmacy.

I would never think of looking at Walmart for a shower chair. Your
best bet is a medical supply store or a pharmacy. Even CVS or
Walgreens might carry one.
