I submitted an application to Washington Mutual for Obama's MakeMyHomeAffordable.com program. I met all of the criteria from the various websites and yet I was denied by WaMu because my situation/hardship was not permanent. I received 7 over draft fees today totally $210.00 for nearly $57 dollars worth of purchases.
I felt like this was a little excessive while I understand the penalty for being over drawn, I feel like 35.00 per transaction is a little excessive, and I wanted to speak with someone about it because I'm a full time student, and I was laid off about 3 months ago, and that $210.00 is not a lot of...

Closed/Collection Account PAID Letter |

I had a checking account with WAMU a few years back that was recently closed. It was closed with a balance. That balance was sent to a Collection Agency.
I recently paid off that balance with the collection agency that bought the account from WAMU.
My problem is that WAMU reported me to Chexsystems. I honestly expected the collection agency to notify WAMU that the account was settled...

WAMU lost 3 checks deposited to my accounts in January and February of 2009. After hours of phone calls, I finally had to cancel the original checks and issue new checks.
Then, today, I find out that WAMU found the old checks and tried to deposit them 3 months later and they want to charge me fees for this.
