New, tasteless french fries from Wendy's

The change by Wendy's to the new french fries was a huge mistake! They're awful! While I find most of their menu to be very good, these so-called french fries are tasteless, often not crispy at all, and a total waste of money. If I want a decent fry, I have to prepare them at home using good old-fashioned Vegetable Oil and real salt. Won't be ordering them ever again.

Take a hint from Dairy Queen!

I wonder if this is a result from the legal mandates banning transfat
oils from fast food.

To each his own... I had to grab a quick lunch the other day at work
and went to Wendy's. I really liked the new fries. Mine were crispy
and well salted. It might have bee a preparation issue, I don't
think any fry would taste good if it was soggy and unsalted.

I am not a big FF eater but now I will have to try these.
As far as "real" salt if I am not mistaken their new recipe calls for
Sea Salt. There's no more "real" salt than that.
